
Tea Time Cocktails
Whether we are waking ourselves up in the morning with a black tea, or relaxing before bed with a chai, tea is an integral part of many of our daily routines. Tea can also be a fun ingredient in mixology, adding new layers of flavours to some of our favourite cocktails. Give it a try in one of our featured Tea Time Cocktail recipes!
The Heir Apparent
- 1 ½ oz Lone Pine Earl Grey Gin
- ½ oz Galliano
- ½ oz La Linda Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- ¼ oz Simple Syrup
1. Add all ingredients, except wine, to cocktail shaker
2. Add ice to shaker and shake for 10 seconds
3. Double Strain into a cocktail glass
4. Gently pour wine atop cocktail and garnish with a lemon zest
Rye & Chai Old Fashioned
- 2 oz Prospector Canadian Rye Whisky
- ¼ oz Maple Syrup
- 2 Dashes Token Calder Chai Bitters
1. Gently muddle an orange zest in a mixing glass
2. Add rye, bitters, and maple syrup to mixing glass
3. Add ice to mixing glass and stir for 10 seconds
4. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice
5. Garnish with an orange zest
Green Tea Rum Punch (Serves 3 People)
- 6 oz Worthy Park Rum-Bar Gold
- 8 oz Chilled Green Tea
- 2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz White Sugar
- 1 oz BG Reynolds’ Falernum
- 1 oz Water
1. Dissolve 1 oz white granulated sugar in 8 oz of green tea
2. Add reaming ingredients to tea
3. Chill punch in fridge and serve in tea cups with a lime wheel
